For those who have already visited the city at the head of the post you have a video montage I made the trip, if you will remember all those beautiful places. For those you have yet to go, take a look at post-directory where the commented most important things is to see and many of the things that should you have in mind when see the city.
Preparing your trip: Flight, hotel and details to consider
If you go to Paris you should keep in mind that it is an expensive city and if you want to spend as little as possible have to go looking well take what flights, hotel, etc. For flight
can look on sites such as Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling or what I do, which is looking into
rumbo.es , if I see that the lowest fare belonging to different companies, bought from the same page. If they belong to the same company, go to the page itself and look for those same flights because you always leave something cheaper. For hotels
just look at booking.com
, I think a page with an excellent service and highly recommended price relationships, as well as in most hotels
can cancel your reservation without charge up to two days before, so if you find a better place with the passage of time can change without problems, as was my case. I finally left in the
Du Maine Hotel (hotel page) , was the best quality / location / price would be.
At Easter, I got the flight for € 170 round trip, and the hotel for about 150 euros for four nights.
is also essential to know which destinations to going to go and what they have available for a service online ticketing because you can save a lot of queues. At Versailles, for example, we could have saved a queue of more than one hour between ticket purchase and entry into the palace. If you are under 26 or have a student card you can get free almost everywhere or at worst pay for a long entry smaller.
Moving through Paris, scheduling the visit and know the different means of transport
Depending on the time you have, it is advisable to select transport you're using and what lines you must take to go to different sites. If you go with time, it is advisable to go by bus everywhere as underground 'll miss the view of many city streets . If your time is inevitable take the subway, but on the other hand is much faster and easier to use.
For visits outside City as the Palace of Versailles or Disneyland, you must use close
(RER) . For routes within the same city, should take a look at
bicycle service called velib ( information page) , you can take a bike for only 1 €. It is very useful and fun but unfortunately I could not use it because it did not accept my card, I think that is only valid credit card and no debit.
When directed ,
if you have a smartphone with GPS and / or compass uses and download any Maps applications you have available. In my case I have a mobile android, not to spend large sums on Internet connections
downloaded an application called Locus ( link) that allows the card to download maps google maps , I was really useful to go tour of the city.
For more detailed information, you can consult the official web
Paris Info (link ) totally in Castilian.
Day 1: Arrival at the city
If
you in any low-cost airline, the plane will leave in the
Beauvais Airport, whose only means of transport to the city is by bus and
way there is worth 15 euros , leaving at Porte Maillot. You can check the bus schedules on the airport website, customized to hours of flight arrival and departure (
link).
arrived in Paris just in time to go to the hotel, so we took that Porte Maillot is next to the Arc de Triomphe (10 minutes walk) to be seeing a bit of Paris, a pity that access to the roof of the arch was closed is a good opportunity to see all the city lights from the sky.
Day 2: Visit the Palace of Versailles
Being able to see in about 4-5 hours, the Palace of Versailles
has different hours and duties by day and season we are visiting, why should consult the official website (link
) to know the different times of the day or see when the waters get music and gardens.
The entrance to the gardens is free unless you have a show that day to enter the palace entrance fee is 15 euros or 18 if you want to see also the home of Marie Antoinette (the village is the best of the whole enclosure), if you are under 26 years do not need to buy entry simply by presenting your ID at the entrance to pass it, you only need to pay 6 euros if I had a show in the gardens, such as musical waters in the picture of the source.
To go to Versailles, RER C
Leaving from Saint Michel - Notre Dame (Paris) at 7:19.
Versailles Rive Gauche Arrive at 7:57 am (38 minute ride).
IDA ticket price: 3.05 €
should go as early as possible to avoid queues and see the rooms with less people ( groups guided tours are especially troublesome, as they stand at every door and bother to spend)
Very important: if you buy tickets online you have to specify the day that you will go to visit. If you know what day you go I advise you to buy because you're going to save time in queues.
Day 2: Getting Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower
we got back from Versailles, RER C off at Saint Michel - Notre Dame , leaving just the cathedral. To enter the church in a queue is quite long but it moves pretty fast, you can also go to the top of the cathedral, which is necessary to make another queue and access was already closed, so if you want should go up quite early.
After seeing Notre Dame can go walking by the river up to the Louvre museum , given the short time we had not we see him inside and the outside view is much more beautiful if it is to see at night.
Just after we set sail to see the Louvre to the Eiffel Tower, the idea was to get dusk to view both day and night. was the perfect time to get to it taking a bike ride along the river , but we could not rent it because the bike rental system would not accept our card, so we went underground.
After arriving at the Eiffel Tower , you can climb to the second floor by stairs or by lift , Climb up elevator is worth about € 11.30, if you go up the stairs is worth a little cheaper: 5.70 €, and even less if you have a student card. For up to the third floor can only be done by additional lift is 5 euros.
From the Palais de Chaillot is very good views for a photo next to the tower . About 9 o'clock, just as it was getting dark, the Eiffel Tower turned on its lights and began to display only a few minutes extra sparkles, like a flash, pretty cool to see.
Travel in Paris: From four in the afternoon until ten p.m.
Day 3: Visit to Disneyland park and Disney Studios
Since I love parks attractions theme and I love all the Disney movies I saw in my childhood ... no need to tell you what day we all had more fun, right?. Disneyland is something you have to see if you go to Paris not miss it for anything, just walk through all those scenarios filled and full of detail is a delight. The bad, like everything in Paris, queues for attractions.
First, it is essential to buy tickets online (link ) . Firstly because you can buy at a discount and secondly because you can just print and go to the park entrance turnstiles, no queues or anything. You can buy it at any time and go to the park over the next six months, before the ticket expires. Information Leaflet:

Châtelet - Les Halles (Paris) at 8:54.
9:34 am Arrive at Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy (Route 40 minutes)
IDA ticket price: 6.70 €
Fastpass: If you want to save more time (again) in queues, find out how it works Fast Pass. In the most popular attractions can pick up a Fast Pass ticket for free in one hour will be indicated that entry to the attraction , you can visit other sites in the park and at the right time to introduce the Fast Pass and skip the whole tail. Only you can use a Fast Pass for entrance to the park until it is consumed, then you can get another Fast Pass another attraction.
Please note that you will not poderte mounted in a single day to all the attractions of the park, so select all your favorites and ride the first one you will like.
Day 3: Louvre at night
Back from Disneyland is a good time to be a walk in the Lovre night, the view is much most beautiful when all lit up (we had a full moon above!). Back in RER A can get off at Les Halles, which is about 15 minute walk from the museum. Les Halles is one of the most important commercial centers and large in Paris, if you want to shop you can spend an afternoon there. At the same time
took the opportunity to dine at one of the typical Parisian restaurants , these tiny tables and charming. Is an Italian restaurant called Pizza Oski (
link), it is not the most glamorous but it's pretty neat, simple, cheap (15 € per head) and they have menus both day and night.
Day 4: Tour Montparnasse, Pantheon, Sainte Chapelle, Paseo Seine, Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge
the fourth day of stay in Paris (third full day) we had a map for the rest of important sites for our remaining seen in the city. From the south, rising to Montparnasse Tower skyscraper , from which is seen throughout the city from the top floor. Costs 10 € up to 7 € reduced price for youth.
is recommended before or after passing through the famous cemetery of Montparnasse , right side and go to route through the city heading north. through the Luxembourg Gardens , the Pantheon , and later walk the Latin Quarter, just south sticking with Notre Dame.
Around two went to see one of the most beautiful churches around Paris, the Saint-Chapelle , which has beautiful stained glass windows. Again, you can enter for free if you are under 26, otherwise the entry is 8 euros.
Just after seeing the church took the opportunity to relax giving a ride in one of the boats that take you across the River Seine .
finished the boat ride on the four. We route to the Champs Elysees , which had not yet seen. On his way, you will bump into the Place de la Concorde and the Petit Palais palaces and Palais de la Decouverte . Once arrived there, we took the metro towards Abbesses stop , one of the few metro stops from old Paris, near the Moulin Rouge area and Sacred Heart Basilica.
Travel in Paris: From 10 am to ten p.m.
Day 5: Visit to La Defense and from the airport
The fifth and last day we had to go to Porte Maillot to catch the bus on the way to the airport at 10 am, so we took that very close is La Defense, a building that is a hollow square, the walls are 100 meters on each side . Surrounded by a multitude of skyscrapers and modern buildings of enterprises and offices, where almost all staff that crossed the site was in a suit and briefcase.
